Carpenter ants, in our area, are the most common wood destroying pests that are found in homes. They target damp and dead wood to form their nests. Carpenter ants don't actually eat wood, but they excavate it.
Carpenter ants are capable of destroying any wood within which they nest. If left untreated, a carpenter ant infestation can cause severe damage to your home's woodwork. We have a couple of options when dealing with carpenter ants. One of which is to implement the use of baits. Because the ants you see foraging around can not digest the food they find, the must return to the colony where the larva act as the stomach for them. Which means we can effectively treat them without drilling or applying a pesticide directly to the nest site. Also there are no fumes or danger to pets and people so there is no need to evacuate the home while we treat.
We provide pest control services for both residential and commercial properties.
